The July meeting of the Forestburgh town board is canceled due to falling on July 4th.

The pool will unfortunately not be opening again this year. Staffing it with experienced lifeguards for the entire summer has been a nationwide struggle and has also affected our town. There are several lakes and rivers throughout Sullivan County that allow public access that are a great alternative to a pool to cool off in or picnic by. A few are, the Delaware River, the Neversink River, Mongaup Reservoir, Lake Superior, White Lake, Swinging Bridge Reservoir, Rio Reservoir to name a few.
Some of these have public beaches, others are accessible to float in a tube or kayak on. Whichever you choose please be safe and responsible.
