The Town of Forestburgh Dog Control Officer, Mr. Steven Budofsky, is available for anyone whose dog has run away or should you find a lost or stray dog at 845-480-9414 or by contacting the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Department at 794-7100. As the Dog Control Officer is part-time and may not always be available, please contact the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Department in an emergency, and for complaints of neglect or abuse. As per the Sullivan County Health Department, do NOT touch, feed or adopt any stray dog, cat or wild animal.
