NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
UPON PRELIMINARY BUDGET
LEGAL NOTICE-Preliminary Budget 2021
NOTICE is hereby given that the Preliminary Budget for the Town of Forestburgh fiscal year beginning January 1, 2021, has been completed and filed in the office of the Town Clerk at Forestburgh, New York where it is available for inspection by any interested person during office hours.
FURTHER notice is hereby given that the Town Board will hold a public hearing on said preliminary budget at the Forestburgh Firehouse, 2539 State Route 42, Forestburgh, New York at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at which time and place any person may be heard in favor or against any item therein contained.
FUTHER due to COVID-19 all CDC guidelines for social distancing will be enforced and face coverings are mandatory. YOU MUST BRING YOUR OWN CHAIR.
PURSUANT to Section 108 of the Town Law the proposed salaries of the Town Officials are hereby specified and will not exceed the following:
Supervisor $21,990.00
Town Clerk $42,800.00
Councilman(4) $6,550.00
Highway Superintendent $53,500.00
Town Justices #1 $8,000.00
#2 $6,000.00
Tax Collector $4,500.00
