The Ethelbert B. Crawford Public Library in Monticello, in coordination with the Sullivan County Community College Teacher’s Education Program, will begin offering free reading tutoring twice weekly to children in grades K-6. This program will begin on Wednesday, February 21st and continue through May. Sessions will take place Mondays from 3:00-6:00pm and Wednesdays from 3:00-5:00pm. Call now to save a time slot for either session. Time slots are 1 hour long and can be shared by up to 3 students.

Reading tutoring can benefit all students, not just students who struggle with reading. Benefits of tutoring session include: improving communication skills, encouraging academic achievement, building confidence, and learning new strategies to overcome struggles.
